Does Perceived Competence Mediate between Ball Skills and Children’s Physical Activity and Enjoyment?

Description: This article examines the potential mediating role of perceived motor skill competence on relationships between actual ball skills and children’s physical activity (PA) and PA enjoyment. Correlation analyses showed positive relationships among the study variables. The findings highlight that ball skills significantly impact students’ perceived competence, positively and indirectly affecting their PA and PA enjoyment.

Effects of an exogenous ketone ester using multi-omics in skeletal muscle of aging C57BL/6J male mice

Description: Article shows that oral R,S-1,3, butanediol diacetoacetate (BD-AcAc2) consumption results in body weight loss or maintenance with moderate increases in circulating ketones. The purpose of this study was to determine if a diet consisting of 25% BD-AcAc2 (ketone ester, KE) would alter body composition, transcriptional regulation, the proteome, and the lipidome of skeletal muscle in aged mice.
