Akha notebook 30
Description:
Handwritten notes on daily life in an Akha village including building houses, social customs, and hunting. When a house is built, a dog, chicken, or goat may be killed as an offering. The dogs reared in the village are only killed in winter, otherwise there is bad luck for hunters. These notes were taken during sessions with an Akha consultant in Copenhagen.
