Description: In this paper we report on IMPACT-T, a 3D beam dynamics code for modeling high brightness beams in photoinjectors and rf linacs. IMPACT-T is one of the few codes used in the photoinjector community that has a parallel implementation, making it very useful for high statistics simulations of beam halos and beam diagnostics. Acceleration of Polarized Protons in the Ags With Two Helical Partial Snakes.

Description: The RHIC spin program requires 2 x 10{sup 11} proton/bunch with 70% polarization. As the injector to RHIC, AGS is the bottleneck for preserving polarization: there is no space for a full snake to overcome numerous depolarizing resonances. Beam-Based Alignment in the Rhic E-Cooling Solenoids.

Description: Accurate alignment of the electron and ion beams in the RHIC electron cooling solenoids is crucial for well-optimized cooling. Beam-Based Non-Linear Optics Corrections in Colliders.

BEAM-BEAM SIMULATIONS FOR THE ERHIC ELECTRON RING.

Description: To study collisions between polarized electrons and heavy ions or polarized protons at high energy, adding a 10 GeV electron storage ring to the existing RHIC facility is currently under consideration. Characterization of 200-UP-1 Aquifer Sediments and Results of Sorption-Desorption Tests Using Spiked Uncontaminated Groundwater

Description: Core characterization showed only 4 out of 13 core liner samples were intact samples and that the others were slough material. The intact samples showed typical Ringold Unit E characteristics such as being dominated by gravel and sand. Moderately reducing conditions are inferred in some core from borehole C4299. Description: Ultraviolet Thomson scattering has been fielded at the Omega Laser Facility to achieve accurate measurements of the plasma conditions in laser-produced high-temperature plasmas. The Chesapeake Laser Tracker in Industrial Metrology

Description: In the summer of 1992, the survey and alignment team at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center acquired a CMS3000 laser tracker manufactured by Chesapeake Laser Systems in Lanham, Maryland.
