Soldier Shows

Scripts and scores of shows performed by soldiers for their fellow soldiers, developed by the Special Services Division of the American Services Forces as a morale-building tool during World War II. The Soldier Shows “Blueprint Specials” provided soldiers with all the resources they needed to stage an original, Broadway-style musical.
