The Lou Robin Instantaneous
About the Physical Collection
Our Lou Robin Collection of Instantaneous Records is small in quantity, but mighty in quality. One box of 129 discs contains recordings of radio broadcasts of major jazz artists including Duke Ellington, Les Brown, Gene Krupa, Nat King Cole, Tommy Dorsey and Woody Herman. Crucially, most of the recordings are labeled with their dates, so it is possible to check them against discographies and see that a great deal have not been released, pending confirmation of the dates where possible.
