Abstract: This report, by the University of North Texas Center for Economic Development and Research, updates the 2004/2005 analyses of the regional economic activity generated by Disadvantaged, Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (DMWBE) contractors and vendors operating at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW Airport). In addition, this report expands the analysis to include estimates of the impacts of firms within several DMWBE categories such as female-owned enterprises and those owned by individuals representing specified ethnic/racial minorities. This analysis also includes an examination of the role played by DFW Airport's Business
Diversity and Development Department in the success of DMWBE contractors, vendors, and concessionaires.
