Recording of William Kleinsasser's Available instruments. This work is meant to be performed by one piano, one Disklavier piano, and a computer system. The computer music in this piece results from various sound transformational processes applied to recordings of the piano music. The work as a whole explores the intrigue and risk of engaging musical instruments that are on technology's developmental edge.
