This study, "Surface Textures of Unglazed Pottery," will record and evaluate a series of experiments performed that can be achieved on unglazed ceramic ware....The problem will be limited to experiments using a red clay from Horatio, Arkansas, a buff clay from Trenton, New Jersey, and a tan clay from Athens, Texas.
