Description

The objectives of this research program are to determine bond strength under dynamic loading, to compare bond strengths under static and dynamic loading, and to test the adequacy of ACI Building Code bond requirements for structural elements subjected to blast loads. The tests have shown that local static bond strengths may be as high as 0.75 fc and that under dynamic loading this strength increases to fc.
