Notes
Abstract: Having just published a digital monograph that makes arguments across textual and visual modes, I will describe the practical work of digital scholarship and the considerations necessary for scholars interested in composing or evaluating digital scholarship. Digital monographs create opportunities for scholars to explore a variety of modes in their scholarship (images, text, animation, sound, video, interactivity). Delivery modes shape arguments, and digital scholarship changes the kinds of arguments scholars can make. They also require different strategies and tactics in their composition and evaluation. This presentation describes my own process and what can be learned for future projects.
