Climate Metrics for C1–C4 Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)

Description: This article looks at hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) which are potent greenhouse gases that are potential substitutes for ozone depleting substances. Using a microprocessor knee (C-Leg) with appropriate foot transitioned individuals with dysvascular transfemoral amputations to higher performance levels: a longitudinal randomized clinical trial

Description: Article evaluating whether advanced prostheses can provide better safety and performance capabilities to maintain and improve quality of life in individuals who are predominantly designated MFCL level K2. This study used a 13 month longitudinal clinical trial to determine the benefits of using a C-Leg and 1M10 foot in individuals at K2 level with transfemoral amputation due to vascular disease.

Associations between volunteering and cognitive impairment: The moderating role of race/ethnicity

Longitudinal Effects of Motivation and Physical Activity on Depressive Symptoms among College Students

Description: This article is guided by Lubans et al.'s conceptual framework and examines the longitudinal relationships of physical activity (PA) motivation with leisure-time PA and depressive symptoms among college students over one academic year. The findings suggest sex-specified motivational intervention strategies and PA promotion programs/opportunities are needed to reduce depression symptoms among college students over time.

Land Use Simulation of Guangzhou Based on Nighttime Light Data and Planning Policies

Description: This article employs nighttime light (NTL) information as a proxy indicator of gross domestic product(GDP), and a future land use simulation model (FLUS) to simulate the land use patterns in Guangzhou from 2015 to 2018 and 2018 to 2035 by incorporating planning policies. This study demonstrates that NTL is a suitable and feasible proxy indicator of GDP for the land use simulations, providing a scientific basis for the development of urban planning and construction policy.
