A Method of Measuring Piston Temperatures

Description: "A method that makes use of thermocouples has been developed to measure the temperature of engine pistons operating at high speeds. Italian High-Speed Airplane Engines

The tests were performed on the Fiat AS6 engine, and all components of that engine are discussed from cylinders to superchargers as well as the test set-up.
