Literature search for the non-aqueous separation of zinc from fuel rod cladding. [After dissolution in liquid metal]

Description: This report reviews the literature of processes for the nonaqueous separation of zinc from dissolved fuel assembly cladding. The processes considered were distillation, pyrochemical processing, and electrorefining. The last two techniques were only qualitatively surveyed while the first, distillation, was surveyed in detail.
