Description: For FY2004, the President’s budget requested $7.6 billion in budget authority for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), $448 million (or 6%) less than the $8.1 billion current funding level. Exemptions from Environmental Law for the Department of Defense: Background and Issues for Congress
