Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's Jeu de carte. This work was created for the open work project as part of the Synthèse Festival. This work is meant to celebrate the bicentenary for George Sand by using a computer playing traditional instruments. Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's Des ondes, toujours des ondes. This piece was composed within the framework of the open work "le Monde devenu musique l'écoute du siècle". The concept behind the piece is the idea that we are all surrounded by waves constantly: the telephone, radio, television, etc. The composer focuses mainly on the importance of the radio over the last century by highlighting significant events and their broadcasts.

Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's Quanta sonorum. This work is a tribute to the composer Iannis Xenakis. Saur describes this piece as being built on the idea of playing with finite quantities of energy, represented by small fragments of sound that vary in their duration and timbre. This piece was composed for the Bourges Synthesis Festival within the framework of the open work "The Creation of the World".

Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's Dieu est absent des champs de bataille. For electronics. "God is Absent from the Battlefields" (incidental music, for theater) taken from "La main coupé" by Blaise Cendras, interspersed with poems by Guillaume Apollinaire. The subject is the 14-18 war and the atrocity that accompanies it.

Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's 2, rue Charles Dubois. The title of this piece is the address of the house where Jules Verne lived in Amiens. This work is comprised of 3 movements inspired by one of Verne's novels and was created as part of the open work project for the Synthèse Festival. The composer wrote this piece to explore Verne's fascination with the speed of means of communication.

Painting music

Description: Recording of Etienne Saur's Painting music. This work was created to explore the poetic intentions of all artistic creation. The composer asked several different artists if they could use some of their works to create this composition. This work consists of three movements, each one inspired by a work of art by the following artists: Catherine Jourdan and Sarah Debove, Jean-François Grégoire, and Jean Detrémont.
