Description: Recording of Marc Beugnies' Naissance d'une Etoile. For electronics. The heart of the system is based on an arbitrarily postulated equivalence between the ten octaves of the audible acoustic domain and the octave of the electromagnetic waves in the visible. Thus, the spectrum of the star at each of its stages of formation has been converted into sound frequencies, from the limit of infrasound (corresponding to infrared) to that of ultrasound (corresponding to ultraviolet).

Dhoomages

Description: Recording of Jon Christopher Nelson's Dhoomages. This work consists of a series of short electroclips that pay homage to three seminal electroacoustic works and the composers.
