Dementia and COVID-19 among Older African American Adults: A Scoping Review of Healthcare Access and Resources

Tuning excited state electronic structure and charge transport in covalent organic frameworks for enhanced photocatalytic performance

A theoretical study of M–M′ polar-covalent bonding in heterobimetallic multinuclear organometallic complexes of monovalent group 11 metal centres

High-Throughput Investigation of Multiscale Deformation Mechanism in Additively Manufactured Ni Superalloy

Description: Article discusses how, in this paper, Inconel 718 (IN718) superalloy was processed by laser powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing (L-PBFAM), followed by heat treatment. Microstructure evolution and mechanical properties in a gas tungsten arc welded Fe42Mn28Co10Cr15Si5 metastable high entropy alloy

Description: Article asserts that weldability studies on high entropy alloys are still relatively scarce, delaying the deployment of these materials into real-life applications, thus, there is an urgent need for in-depth studies of the weldability of these novel advanced engineering alloys. Spatially confined protein assembly in hierarchical mesoporous metal-organic framework

Description: Article discusses how the immobilization of biomolecules into porous materials could lead to significantly enhanced performance in terms of stability towards harsh reaction conditions and easier separation for their reuse. Automated Approach to In Vitro Image-Guided Photothermal Therapy with Top-Down and Bottom-Up-Synthesized Graphene Quantum Dots

Description: Article discusses how, based on recent studies, graphene quantum dots (GQDs) are expected to possess advantageous photothermal properties and facilitate fluorescence image-tracking in the visible and near-infrared (NIR), while surpassing other graphene-based materials in their biocompatibility. A Phosphonic Functionalized Biopolymer for the Sorption of Lanthanum (III) and Application in the Recovery of Rare Earth Elements

Description: Authors of the article state that in the first step of their experiment, the sorption was investigated using La(III) ions before testing for the recovery of rare earth elements (REEs) from pretreated industrial acidic leachate.
