Investigation of Torsion Creep-to-Rupture Properties of N-155 Alloy

Description: Memorandum presenting an investigation of the torsion creep-to-rupture properties on the alloy steel N-155. Rupture times in the 10-to-1000-hour range were considered and tests were made at the temperatures 1200, 1350, and 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. Comparisons of the effects of simple combined stresses were made with tension creep-to-rupture properties.
