Foreign Travel Report - West Germany and Belgium - September 9 - September 13, 1985

Description: This report discusses visitation of the PAMELA plant which provided an opportunity to observe the operation and design of this European waste solidification facility. The aim of the workshop was to exchange expertise relative to the safe vitrification of HLLW in order to determine which areas were technologically solved and which areas required further study.

Plasma Lens for High Flux X-Ray Radiation

Description: We have developed the Scaled Thermal Explosion Experiment (STEX) to provide a database of reaction violence from thermal explosion for explosives of interest. Such data are needed to develop, calibrate, and validate predictive capability for thermal explosions using simulation computer codes. Delisting Petition for Vitrified M-Area Plating Line Wastes
