Description: Plutonium is a man-made element whose behavior in the marine environment is inadequately known at present. It has been studied intensively in connection with production of weapons and power sources and has been characterized as an extremely toxic substance. [News Script: Hefley]

Description: Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas, relating a news story about the court jury ruling on Charles Roy Hefley, who raped Carolyn Adams and drowned her two infant sons in the Trinty River. Hefley has been incarcerated in Rusk State Mental Hospital but has since pleaded sanity. The jury ruled him sane but Hefley was sent back to Rusk while pending appeals by the State.
