Screening Program Reduced Melanoma Mortality at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, 1984-1996

Description: Worldwide incidence of cutaneous malignant melanoma has increased substantially, and no screening program has yet demonstrated reduction in mortality. We evaluated the education, self examination and targeted screening campaign at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) from its beginning in July 1984 through 1996.
