Endangered Species: Difficult Choices

The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC): Policy and Legislative Issues

Description: The earned income tax credit began in 1975 as a temporary program to return a portion of the social security taxes paid by lower-income taxpayers, and was made permanent in 1978. VA-Home Loan Guaranty Program: An Overview

Description: This report discusses the features of the Veterans Affairs (VA) home loan guaranty program, which has been providing home loan guarantees since 1944. Interstate Waste Transport: Legislative Issues
