BCP selector valves and limit switches

Description: This Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) has been prepared to demonstrate that the Electrical/Instrumentation systems for the BCP stream function as required by project criteria. Specifically, the test will verify the operation of the solenoid valves and associated limit switches installed for the BCP portion of W-OO7H. This equipment is part of the B-Plant Process Condensate Treatment Facility.

Capacitive deionization of water: An innovative new process

Description: The capacitive deionization of water with a stack of carbon aerogel electrodes has been successfully demonstrated for the first time. Unlike ion exchange, one of the more conventional deionization processes, no chemicals were required for regeneration of the system. Electricity was used instead. Description: Concepts for fitting and installation of the scissor keys, triangular keys, and truss keys in the ITER Toroidal Field (TF) Coil Assembly were developed and evaluated.
