Description: We have investigated the interaction of U(VI) and Np(V) actinide ions with cementitious materials that are relevant to nuclear waste repositories using X-Ray Absorption Fine Structure (XAFS) Spectroscopy. Software recycling at the Hanford Site

Description: The Hanford Site was the first Department of Energy (DOE) complex to recycle excess software rather than dispose of it in the landfill. This plan, which took over a year to complete, was reviewed for potential legal conflicts, which could arise from recycling rather than disposal of software. Application of Integrated Reservoir Management and Reservoir Characterization to Optimize Infill Drilling

Description: The eighteen 10-acre infill wells which were drilled as part of the field demonstration portion of the project are all currently in service with no operational problems. Description: The authors have demonstrated a functional Pnp heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) using InGaAsN. Description: Hydrolytic degradation has been shown to be a significant problem for poly(ester urethane) elastomers exposed to high humidity environments.
