Description: Report that provides information on federal financial assistance provided to the Gulf States after major disasters were declared in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas in response to the widespread destruction that resulted from Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma in 2005 and Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in 2008. The Quality of Surface Waters in Texas

Description: Abstract: The discharge-weighted average concentrations of dissolved solids, chloride, and sulfate for many of the principal streams in Texas are less than 500 mg/1 (milligrams per liter), 250 mg/1, and·250 mg/1, respectively.
