Description: From abstract: This report is about six gas samples that were obtained from the Mississippian Leadville Limestone in the McElmo field, Colorado, and the Lisbon field, Utah. These samples were recorded to contain a high reading of carbon dioxide and the report investigates these results.

Status of the Ground Water Flow Model for the UMTRA Project, Shiprock, New Mexico, Site

Description: A two-dimensional numerical model was constructed for the alluvial aquifer in the area of the Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project Shiprock, New Mexico, site. This model was used to investigate the effects of various hydrologic parameters on the evolution of the ground water flow field. Results of the model are useful for defining uncertainties in the site conceptual model and suggesting data collection efforts to reduce these uncertainties.
