Description: From Purpose and Scope: "The Dubois Quadrangle, Idaho and Montana (Fig. 1), was studied to identify geologic environments and delineate areas favorable for uranium deposits. These reports summarized field observations and contained preliminary evaluations of geologic environments for uranium deposition. The identification of environments favorable for uranium deposition involved collection and interpretation of radiometric, geochemical, and geologic data."

Dillon Quadrangle, Montana and Idaho

Description: From abstract: All geologic conditions in the Dillon Quadrangle (Montana and Idaho) have been thoroughly examined, and, using National Uranium Resource Evaluation criteria, environments are favorable for uranium deposits along fractured zones of Precambrian Y metasediments, in the McGowan Creek Formation, and in some Tertiary sedimentary basins.
