Description: This report discusses federal evacuation policy and analyzes potential lessons learned from the evacuation of individuals from Hurricane Katrina. Survival of a Hydrogen-Utilizing Bacterium when Introduced into Native and Foreign Environments

Description: Report detailing a bioremediation experiment in which laboratory grown cultures of the Acinetobacter were re-introduced to an experimental flow-through marsh environment. "The body of this report focuses on the competitive studies performed on the Acinetobacter sp., which actually was the second half of the project. Strong Mid-Depth Currents and a Deep Cyclonic Gyre in the Gulf of Mexico

Description: This report is about the exploration of the possibility that the deep flow around the edges of the Gulf circulates in a cyclonic, or counter-clockwise direction. The existence of this flow was purely theoretical but this study shows that such is observed reliably.
