Description: The objective of this analysis is to explore the Westinghouse mixed-oxide (MOX) and Combustion Engineering MOX assembly waste package (WP) resistance to rock fall, slap-down, and two meter drop events. This analysis will be used to evaluate the structural performance of the waste packages. The purpose of this analysis is to document the models and methods used in the calculations. The results of this analysis are not intended to show direct compliance with any design requirements.

Effects of Flat Taxes and Other Proposals on Housing: An Overview

Description: Studies have estimated that some of these revisions would cause a decline in demand for houses and significant reduction in house prices--perhaps in excess of 15 percent. These studies, however, presumed a fixed supply of housing; even a limited supply response would greatly decrease predicted asset price effects. Risk assessment of seeps from the 317 Area of Argonne National Laboratory

Description: Chlorinated hydrocarbon contaminants have recently been detected in groundwater seeps on forest preserve property south of the 317 Area at ANL. The 317 Area is near ANL`s southern boundary and is considered the source of the contamination.
