Description: The problem has consisted, first, of a mapping of the soil types present in Haskell County; second, a collection of the existing vegetation of each soil type; third, an identification of the vegetation collected and observed; fourth, and lastly, a comparative study of the vegetation of each soil type in an effort to establish a correlation between the vegetation and the soil type.

A Study of Peer Acceptance in the Newly-Consolidated Northwest High School at Justin, Texas

Description: The primary problem of this study is to investigate statistically the degree of social integration in a newly-consolidated rural high school formed from four previously existing high schools. The sociometric technique is to be used to determine the peer acceptance for the component parts of the school population, to find out, if possible, if the process of combining the four schools has created an atmosphere which is contributing to the more effective social adjustment of all the students.

A Study of the Reduction Products of N-(4-Nitrophenacyl)-4-(1-Hexyl)pyridinium Bromide

Description: Because of the structural analogies between these compounds and several other physiologically active compounds, such as chloroamphenicol, 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone, and 2,2-bis-(p-aminophenyl)-1,1,1-trichloroethane, a more complete study of the reduction products and the sequence of catalytic reduction of N-(4-nitrophenacyl)-4-(1-hexyl)pyridinium bromide was made in this investigation.
