Chromosomal Aberrations in a Natural Population of Chironomus Tentans Exposed to Chronic Low-Level Environmental Radiation

Description: The salivary gland chromosomes of Chironomus tentans larvae collected from White Oak Creek, an area contaminated by radioactive waste from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and from six uncontaminated areas were examined for chromosomal aberrations. String Quartet

Description: The String Quartet is comprised of three movements: Allegro, Adagio, and Vivace. The Allegro utilizes a monothematic Sonata Allegro form: the Adagio is through-composed, and the Vivace is a Rondo. All three movements feature a lean harmonic texture, much of the harmony resulting from linear movement, i.e. counterpoint.

A Study on the Stability of Self-concept

Description: There are two major purposes of this study. First, it will attempt to ascertain whether self-concept, as measured by a self-concept scale, will fluctuate significantly due to a recent ego inflating or deflating experience, and if so, how lasting and in what areas are the effects. Secondly, it will note whether or not the low self-concept individual is more susceptible to changes in self-concept due to these environmental changes than the high self-concept individual.
