Description: The purpose of this play is to dramatize the change of government in ancient Greece from a matriarchy to a patriarchy and from rule by the Ionian to rule by the Dorian Greeks through the last years of Helen of Troy. Faced with a challenge by her husband, Menelaus, who wants his sons to rule, Helen manages through intrigue to arrange for her daughter to gain the throne. Helen herself becomes a "goddess."

A Descriptive Comparison of Value System Analysis and the Personal Orientation Inventory

Description: The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the Values for Working Test and the Personal Orientation Inventory. Both instruments were administered to the same group of 232 employed individuals. Stepwise multiple linear regression with analysis of variance was the statistical procedure employed. Time-Compressed Speech Discrimination and Its Relationship to Reading-Readiness Skills

Description: Time-compressed speech discrimination of children grouped as high and low risk on a reading-readiness test was examined. Children were grouped according to performance on a measure of reading-readiness skills. All passed a hearing screening at fifteen decibels for octave frequencies 250-4000 Hz.
