Description: The purpose of this investigation was to examine the change in pulmonary ventilation (V_E), ventilatory equivalent of oxygen (VE_O_2) and lactic acid (LA) in relation to oxygen uptake (V_O_2) as predictors of the lactate threshold (LT). Description: The research problem was to develop a comprehensive, descriptive profile on full-time sociology faculty employed by public community colleges in the State of Texas in terms of demographic characteristics, academic and professional preparation, and teaching and other professional practices.
