Description: Folding fan of cockade type. Red metal handle embossed with birds and flowering vines. The pleated paper fans forms a full circle. One side printed with a scene of a long-tailed bird (Phoenix?) sitting amid flowering branches with gold background. Reverse is printed with a scene of two birds flying over flowering branches. Marked in metal of handle: "Midget Fan / No. 104" and "Made in Hong Kong".

Evening Ensemble - Jacket and Dress

Description: Evening ensemble of heavy pink Alaskine silk/wool blend, consisting of a jacket and dress. The jacket is a cropped, bolero style, with rounded neckline and short sleeves. It has a center front opening with single hook-and-eye at throat. The sleeves, neckline, opening, and hem are edged in band of pink and crystal beads and rhinestones. Description: Ensemble. Made from a Japanese Kimono of orange silk with red, cream, and black Ikat design of elongated hexagons. A) Jacket. Formed of upper part of kimono, with Short band collar and wide kimono sleeves. Lined in red. Label sewn inside at collar: "Ryu-Bi Style / Kimono Suite / Made in Tokyo" B) (Not pictured) Skirt. Formed of the lower part of kimono, full-length, wrap style, wide waistband secured with two pairs of hook-and-eyes. Lined as jacket.
