The Slide Trumpet in England From 1796 to 1900

String Quartet

Description: The first movement of the "String Quartet" opens with a gradual unfolding of the lead motive in the first six measures of the section marked "Largo." The second theme is heard in the first two measures of the section marked "Moderato" after a false start by the first violin. Description: The study reported in the thesis attempted to examine the decision-making process for the institutionalization of older people in homes for the aged.
