Analysis of Dr. Schaffran's Propeller Model Tests

Description: Note presenting an analysis of the propeller model tests of Dr. Schaffran. Only the thrust is examined. The results indicate that the thrust produced by three-blade and four-blade propellers follows the same laws as with two-blade propellers, and that all conclusions reached from Dr. Durand's tests can be upheld.

Change Houses in the Lake Superior Region

Description: Technical paper issued by the Bureau of Mines over change and wash houses in the Lake Superior area. As stated in the introduction, "this paper, with a few exceptions, presents data acquired in a survey, made by the author, of change houses in the Lake Superior region.
