Pacific Lamprey Research and Restoration : Annual Report 1996.

Description: The once abundant stocks of Pacific lamprey (Lampetra tridentata) above Bonneville Dam are currently depressed (Close et al. 1995). It is likely that many of the same factors that led to the decline of wild stocks of Columbia River Pacific salmon and steelhead have impacted Pacific lamprey populations. Long-Term Monitoring at the East and West Flower Garden Banks

Description: This report is a continuation of a similar study conducted from 1989-1991 when permanent stations were established to monitor the coral in the area to assess how environmental factors were affecting the reefs. Growth rates and declines were observed, as well as the rates of coral bleaching in the East and West Garden Banks to determine the state of the coral reefs.
