Description: Photograph of a donkey pulling a large wooden barrel, standing in the middle of a dirt street near a two-story building; an unidentified man is standing behind the donkey. A handwritten label in the lower-right corner says, "Hauling water at Isabel, Texas." It is attached to a different postcard written by Byrd Williams, Jr. from his home in the Ysleta community in El Paso.

[Ripped notebook kept by Byrd Williams III]

Description: Photograph of the cover of a notebook diary from the Byrd Williams Family Photography Collection, that has a brown paper material as its covers and has a wire spiral holding the papers together. [Triptych of Bessie Stiles]

Description: Triptych of Bessie Stiles. In the first photograph, Bessie is a young woman standing to have her portrait taken. In the second photograph, Bessie is seated and posing with two boys, presumed to be her sons. In the center of the triptych is the certificate of death from the Oklahoma State Board of Health, which states that Bessie Stiles died in the hospital for the insane.
