241-BY-106 sampling test plan

Description: This plan outlines the approach to be taken on obtaining the second core from 241-BY-106, riser 10B, using the Rotary Mode Core Sample Truck (RMCST). The purpose for obtaining the second core is to retrieve the final segments to determine ferrocyanide content. Field studies of beach cones as coastal erosion control/reversal devices for areas with significant oil and gas activities. Final report, February 24, 1992--September 18, 1995

Description: The primary objective of this project was to evaluate the utility of a device called the {open_quotes}beach cone{close_quotes} in combating coastal erosion. Seven initial sites were selected for testing beach cones in a variety of geometric configurations. Permits were obtained from the State of Louisiana and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to perform the work associated with this study.
