Subaërial Decay of Rocks and Origin of the Red Color of Certain Formations

Description: A report that focuses on the widespread decay of the surface rocks throughout the Appalachian region. It also focuses on the iron-stained sands which result from subaërial decay of crystalline rocks that agree in many ways with iron-stained sands forming certain geologic formations.
