1978 Houston-Galveston and Texas Gulf Coast vertical-control surveys

Description: Comparisons between leveling surveys of different epochs are used to determine vertical displacement of permanent bench marks. Displacement of bench marks usually represents the movement of the surrounding area. In this report, the 1978 Houston-Galveston and Texas Gulf Coast releveling surveys are compared to the 1963, 1973, and 1976 releveling results. Use of the STORM Model for Estimating the Quantity and Quality of Runoff from the Metropolitan Area of Houston, Texas

Description: From introduction: The purpose of this study, made in cooperation with the Texas Department of Water Resources, was to adapt an existing model to utilize available streamflow and water quality data to compute runoff from the Houston area and to compute the concentrations and loads of selected water-quality constituents contained in the inflow to Galveston Bay.
